I’m often asked what is on my Christmas wish list, from readers to my own husband. I often have to pause and think, since like many people, my first thought is, “What do I really need?” But that’s the joy of holiday wish lists—it’s not just about needs; it’s about celebrating life’s little luxuries and finding those thoughtful items that make everyday moments just a bit more special.
I end up getting most of the ideas for my holiday wish list from The Everygirl and The Everymom’s beautifully curated holiday gift guides, plus a few other items I’ve mentally bookmarked throughout the year. From beautiful home decor to luxurious beauty products and timeless additions to my winter wardrobe, this year’s list is all about blending practicality with the joy of the season. Join me in exploring these handpicked favorites and get inspired to add a little something special to your holiday wish list. I have no doubt you’ll get some gift ideas for yourself, as well as any of the women you might be buying for this holiday season, like moms, grandmas, sisters, and friends.
Wish List for My Closet
Sézane
Living in Chicago, sweaters are my go-to from October through April. But up until last year, I did not own much in the way of cardigans. So last winter, I bought my first Sézane cardigan (the Basile cardigan), and consider me converted. I love the chic and cozy layering style of cardigans, and the amount I wore it is borderline comical. It was also the first sweater I reached for when the weather turned this fall. I love the layered look of a cardigan, and knowing how wonderful the quality, fit, and style are, I am hoping to expand my cardigan collection with Sézane’s gorgeous Emile style. The quiet luxury caramel color paired with the tortoise buttons makes this a classic I know I’ll wear for years to come.
Armitron
Speaking of quiet luxury style, I spotted this classic wristwatch in The Everygirl’s Quiet Luxury gift guide and immediately added it to my Christmas wish list. As a long-time Apple Watch user, I’ve decided I need an alternate, dressier version when the occasion calls for it, from date night to work events, really any time I leave the house after 5 p.m., and the Tank Watch by Armitron fits the bill. Now the only question is: silver or gold?
J.Crew
This sparkly little number has popped up in so many Everygirl articles this season, I’m convinced it’s the jewelry piece missing in my life. I love the budget-friendly price tag of this J.Crew tennis necklace, and in a surprise choice, I’m choosing the silver version over the gold. Again, I love the classic look layered in with other favorites.
Lululemon
As a busy mom who works from home, I am always looking for easy, comfortable, yet stylish pieces to throw on in the morning to get me from school drop-off to my desk. This sweatshirt has a more elevated look to it, making me feel slightly more put-together. The navy with gold and the jade gray have made it onto my holiday wish list this year.
Wish List for Beauty
CVS | Rael Beauty
Sheet face masks have become one of my favorite lil’ self-care treats. My skin tends to be very dry, and Rael Beauty’s Face Masks always give it that extra jolt of hydration when it’s feeling particularly parched. I’ve tried a few brands, and these definitely have extra moisture compared to others, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. I go through them rather quickly, so I’ll be asking for some of these in my stocking this holiday season. The Hydration is my favorite, but it’s always fun to mix in the Collagen and Vitamin C options as well.
LED Technologies, Inc.
I turned 39 this fall and feel 40 knocking on the door, so I know it’s time to adopt a more advanced skincare regimen. I have been meaning to try red light therapy for fine lines for a while now, and I have heard such wonderful things about LED Technologies and the reVive Light Therapy Lux Collection Glō in particular. All I want for Christmas is a lil’ anti-aging magic, thanks to modern technology. Consider this on my list.
Medik8
Anything that leaves my skin still looking dewy eight hours after application is what I want for Christmas. In fact, I would dive headfirst into a pool of anything labeled “night cream” that promises “intense moisturization” and “overnight youth boost.” Sign me up. That plus the 1,700+ fan-favorite five-star reviews have put Medik8’s Advanced Night Ceramide on my wish list to help get my skin through the dry winter months.
L’Occitane
Like many things on my list, I keep hearing so many things about L’Occitane’s Shower Oil this year, color me intrigued. One—my millennial brain is wondering, what is a shower oil? Two—that sounds nice! I want to try it! I’d like silky smooth skin and smelling of almonds. Santa, please bring me Almond Shower Oil this year.
Wish List for My Home
Flamingo Estate
Quality, specialty food gifts are always at the top of my holiday lists, both for gifting others and on my own wish list. There’s something so special about cooking with elevated, unique ingredients, and this trio from Flamingo Estate is the most lovely gift set. It also makes a great hostess gift this holiday season.
CVS
I had a few special trips this year, including a bucket list trip to France with my mom and sister. It was such a special adventure, and I’d love to have it commemorated in a photo album book to regularly reach for on my coffee table. I love the look and price of this minimalistic, lay-flat photo album option, which is completely customizable. I’ll likely be making one for my mom, too!
Hatch
We are longtime Hatch fans in our house, having loved the Hatch nightlights for our babies. So it’s no surprise I was thrilled when I learned they offered this chic, linen-covered version complete with relaxing sounds, a special sunlight wake-up feature, and a nice dim clock so I’m not relying on my bright phone screen to see how much time I have left to snooze in the wee hours of the morning.
Stoffer Home
Another item on my wish list that I found in The Everygirl’s gift guide, this darling bee frame is the perfect addition to my growing collection. I love to add new family photos to our main living spaces every year, and I love the more unique oval shape this frame brings to the mix.
Stanley
If you saw me leaving the house on a Saturday morning heading to sports with my kids, you would see me juggling four-plus water bottles in my arms: one for each son, one for me, and my coffee. It’s a situation. One that Stanley’s genius travel beverage bottle with crossbody strap could remedy. Adding the Cross Bottle in white to my list.
Bearaby
I use all the items to help me unwind and destress at the end of the day, from magnesium supplements to lavender linen spray and all my light-hearted romance novels. I think the final missing piece is the weighted blanket. I have heard such wonderful things about how it helps calm the nervous system, and I love the style of this chunky knitted weighted blanket. Would love to have it in cloud white to reach for when I crawl into bed to read every evening and help reset the ole’ cortisol levels.
