It starts with quarterback Will Howard, who is playing some of his best football and will need to continue that into Monday night. The Buckeyes have proven they can win without five-star receiver Jeremiah Smith getting as many touches as they’d like, considering he had just one catch for 3 yards against Texas, but that’s where Howard will have to continue to be an elite field general, going through his progressions and spreading the ball around. Ohio State, which ranks just 46th nationally in turnover margin (compared to Notre Dame at No. 5), will need to take care of the ball.
