Mason Mount has returned to full training with Manchester United, continuing his recovery following an injury-hit start to the season.
Mount has not played since being forced off midway through United’s 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in September after suffering a blow to the head.
The 25-year-old also picked up a separate injury — described by former manager Erik ten Hag as “a knock” at the time — and has missed United’s last seven games as a result.
Mount is not expected to be rushed back to action but resumed training with the rest of the United squad ahead of Thursday’s Europa League meeting with PAOK.
The England international’s Old Trafford career has been consistently disrupted by injury issues since his £55million move from Chelsea last year.
Mount only made 20 appearances in his first year as a United player due to hamstring and calf issues, only scoring his first goal for the club in a 1-1 draw at Brentford in March.
Mount started United’s opening games of the Premier League season, only to be replaced at half time of the 2-1 defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion with a hamstring injury.
