As chef Joshua Weissman welcomes AD into his Austin home in the latest episode of Open Door, he jokes that he doesn’t actually live in a kitchen.
Airbnb’s Chief Business Officer, Dave Stephenson, told Yahoo Finance that after the company’s success with last year’s Barbie Malibu Dreamhouse stay and a promotion inviting guests to plan a trip to Shrek’s Swamp, “We felt like we could do much more, have many more routine drops.”
According to Airbnb, new “Icons” will drop on their site throughout the year, and potential guests can sign up to be notified when each goes live. A fortunate 4,000 folks who request bookings at their favorite spaces will be chosen by Airbnb for a stay. All of the stays are priced under $100 and most will be free. Each can be booked directly from the platform’s app.

“These experiences capture people’s imagination,” Chesky said in an announcement. “They allow people to step into someone else’s world, and at its best, this is what Airbnb does.”
Here’s a list of some of the other spots that will be available for booking from now until October:
The Ferrari Museum
